Summary
The real solution to the unemployment fund shortfall and to the recession as a whole lies with the big-spending, high-taxing federal government. If Congress would slash its multitrillion-dollar spending and reduce taxes to cover only its constitutional responsibilities, it would spur tremendous economic growth and create jobs. Fewer people would be drawing unemployment benefits, and the boom in productivity would allow companies to replenish state unemployment funds without tax increases.
