"One of my crew was driving a bridge on Swanson Road and the water was strong enough to start moving the truck sideways," he said. "It can sweep you off into the creek."

"It really maxed out the (stormwater and sewer) systems," he said. "It can really cause problems if it overflows. You can have manhole covers blow off."

"It's not the worst we've seen, that's for sure," Mr. [Roger Goff] said. "Before I've been able to put a boat in from my front porch."

"I got halfway through, and then I started floating," Ms. Stiles said. "I wasn't trying to drive straight through. I was trying to drive around the edges, but I guess it was too deep."
